Lay Employee Health Insurance 2024

All full-time employees and part time employees who work an average of 25+ hours per week are eligible to participate in the health insurance plan offered by the Diocese of Worcester.
NOTES:
Application must be made within thirty (30) days of hiring. All other applications can be considered only during open enrollment periods. Open enrollment begins May 1st.
The Diocese's renewal date for its health insurance plans for Lay and Religious employees is June 1. Eligible employees, who have not been participating, are also entitled to enroll during open enrollment.
1. Open Enrollment is May 1 through May 26 in order to allow enough time for enrollment forms to be processed and cards sent to you from BCBS. If you are already enrolled with Christian Brothers, and no changes are to be made, you are automatically re-enrolled.
2. No form is needed for the HRA. You are automatically enrolled with your BSBC enrollment.
3. A SEPARATE form is included below to enroll in the FSA (Flexible Spending Account). The Open Enrollment period applies to the FSA as well. The FSA will continue to be administered by HRCTS of New Hampshire. If you are participating in the FSA you will also need to complete the FSA Ethical Use Acknowledgement Letter. Please have these forms back to us no later than May 15th as the company said it can take up to 30 days to send out the debit cards or to reload them with the new amounts.
4. RETURN INSURANCE FORMS to Sr. Joan Pollock in the Chancery. Forms can be scanned and emailed to sjoan@worcesterdiocese.org. If you mail them to Office of Fiscal Affairs, 49 Elm Street, Worcester, MA 01609 please mail no later than May 26, 2024.
